Here's what is showing up in my XP Event Log. As an IT support guy, I've never found this information to be useful but hopefully it will mean something to you.

can you use comclean with SA...or is there another alternative to comclean?

Does SA detect commercials differently depending the source? I had a program recoed on both ny sources (cable/satellite) and the cable recording was more accurate for commercial removal. I use both because my local channels are terrible on cable. TIA :confused:

@ Jere - I noticed that you released 6.2 after I posted the information above. So far, SA has not crashed while detecting commercials. My only issue is that SA only detected half of the commercials for a 1.5 hour movie but I think I might have to tweak the default settings a bit. Do you happen to have an "Tweaker's Guide" for SA? I have to admit, most of those settings look like a foreign language to me.

You'll probably need to do some tweaking for the satellite channels. Jere
