No sound GBPVR only

It's all been running fine for weeks. No config changes. Part way through yesterday, tried to play a recording and found no sound (GBPVR pc is connected to the TV). tried others - all the same. Also no sound from live TV or playing DVD. Sound is perfectly normal when viewing recordings or live TV through media MVP, so sound is being received and recorded. Also, WinDVD on the same machine plays DVD with sound, so PC hardware is OK. Any pointers on where to look?

Try changing the audio settings in the config app, use a different decoder, and see if it helps...

I was thinking the same thing, but he actually says in his post that it's only in GBPVR the problem exists...

what about the GBPVR internal volume control. try using the arrow keys (i think) to adjust the volume when watching a recording.
