Certainly an odd problem. So from what I've read:
- it results in large parts of the screen being filled with garbage
- only affects nvidia card with hardware accelleration and the nvidia decoder.
- only affects some users, others are fine.

fdm225 Wrote:Wtg, it's interesting that your problem went away when you switched to DVI. I have a HDTV running 1024x768 (uising the VGA input) and still get the lines on the side when I use a 6600/NVidia codec where if I use my 9600/NVidia codec it works fine. Are you actually talking about the same problem? There is more to it than lines on the side of the picture. See screenshot here http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=12318&page=2
Quote:I too hope that the next release fixes this because I would love to see the Purevideo work (not complaining mind you, love GBPVR the way it is :-) ..It should be available this weekend. To be honest with you though, I suspect you'll still have your problem. I havnt changed anything about how the decoders or renderer are hooked up for playback.
Sub, Interesting news on a new update any details?
