i have the other day just bought a new digital tv thingymibob. as you could guess these things are quite new to me..

it comes with software which is basic to say the least, when i come across BGPVR. it looks the business,

my question

how to go about setting this thing up?

it took a while, buti managed for the software to find the epg for me...
but when i map it, it gives me lots of grief...

just if anyone can explain a little easy terms how i should be setting this thing up, what i need. anything for me to get started,
the software looks great as i mentioned, but i really would need this, cos at the moment i have all my bbc channels in a row then the itv ones, so for itv i goto ch9 and channel 4 is about 12.. very confusing..

if anyone out there who knows this software that can help

oh please do!

i live in the coventry area if that help.. any other info needed, please just ask..

I've never heard of anyone using this device with GB-PVR, but if it has BDA drivers you should be able to get it to work, but you'll need to add a new section to the BDA.ini file with the appropriate names for you device.

There are a few revisions of the Artec T1, which is a DiBcom DIB-3000P based device. Most of them use USB 1.x and so cannot support BDA whilst some newer revisions are USB 2.0.

The Artec drivers aren't BDA compatible but I think there are drivers from another manufacturer that work with it.
