I am considering buying this card, but I am a noob, and havent got a clue. HELP!
Question: Even though ATI says the HDTV wonder is not for digital cable input, can the gbpvr software make this happen? I really just want to PVR record my local analog and digital stations I get via my cable provider, if there is a better card please advise. Thanks.

Mark,
I'm looking for a replacment for the Guide Plus+ software that came with my ATI All in Wonder 9000 board because it basicaly SUCKS  I was searching this foram and noted that you use aa ATI board and was wounder if you knew if GB-PVR will work with my board. Obviously, I'd like to know, say BEFORE I go the whole install process. Thanks for the help! Mark dflipb Wrote:I have the ati HD card and have gotten it working. You have to follow those HD directions exactally!!! you have to use commas when putting in the stations into your list.

There is no built in support for the ATI All In Wonder boards. The only ATI supported devices are the ATI 550 Pro and the ATI HDTV Wonder.
If you're lucky, it might work with this plugin: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=2753

Was there a resolution to this problem? I have just started setting up a new seperate gb-pvr box with a HDTV wonder card and I am having the same problem. No video, just a black screen. I don't have the sound card installed yet, so I don't know if there is audio. I didn't think to much about it, as I still in the very early stages of trying to get this system working.
