So I got now dvb (t)too.
And I plugged s-vid in the pvr hauppage 250 and stereo in line in on the 250.
But it's already configured for analog cable.
Is there anyway to get this dual input working or do i have to put in another tv-card?
Good advice is priceless! (So I won't pay you, execept for the odd donation to sub Smile).
cheers, arttext

You'd probably have to put in another card if you want to be able to record from two devices using svid/composite.

In that case I might as well plugin a genuine DVB card, right?
Any Dutch users out there with experience (and advice on what card) on either KPN DVB or Digitenne DVB?

The way I figured it out there are 3 possible solutions (since DVB-T in The Netherlands is encrypted)

1. The antenna out signal from the DVB tuner/decoder (I've got a Twin Tuner with two euroscarts out and antenna (analog) out) into an analog tv card.

2. a solution with a scart svid/stereo adapter/splitter both signals into an analog tv card the result will probably have the same quality as in #1.

3. A solution with a dvb tv card and conax reader ( to decrypt the signal) combined (this will probably give the best possible recording signal). The only card I could find to do that is the TwinhanDTV Ter-CI (i already have a ((matrix)cam) that works with the digitenne and kpn CI card.). Anyone out here in NL with any experience with that card? Or another.
And Sub, would that card work with GBPVR?

Sorry, no. There is no cam support at this stage.

CAM support is absolutely vital in Sweden as most channels are encrypted. The inability to use the CAM module renders GB-PVR essentially useless to me.

A big, big shame since it has all the functionality that I have been looking for - including streaming support (with some configuration). All in all, this looked to be so very good. And then - no CAM support. Sad

Please, please, please consider supporting CAM modules at least in the Twinhan TER CI product. I have looked in the code examples that are included with the Twinhan BDA drivers. It does not look to hard to support...

Mediaportal for instance does support it, but that tool has its quirks and bugs that are just to annoying at this time. Looks like I have to go back to Mediaportal for now though. Sigh...

Yep, pretty much the same in Finland as well, but I'd love the support for Techotrend's C1500 (which btw works quite nicely with freeview channels!)

Yes CAM support would be pretty important for me as well.

Nowadays you can use the multidec plugin, at least if you don't have more than one dvb capture card in your setup.
I'm not always right
