PVR150MCE w/ Remote (IR Blaster Prblm)

So I'm new to all this, but I just went out and bought a PVR150MCE and I was trying to get the IR Blaster to work with my Shaw DCT..
I was able to get audio and video using the S-Video input and RCA's for audio, but I couldn't seem to get the IR Blaster working using the different configuration modes I've tried.

Can anyone advise?

There is no built in support for the MCE style remote/blaster combo that comes with the Hauppauge MCE kit. You might be able to get it working with additional third party software like HIP or Girder.

This blaster is different than the blaster that comes with the retail PVR150.

I think its a slightly different beast. Most of the keys dont work with GB-PVRs MCE remote support, but they may fair better with HIP or Girder.

If you go the HIP route, let me know what you find and i will add a note onto the HIP Guide i wrote on the wiki. Would be interesting to know if the hauppauge MCE variation works with HIP or not, and may clear up some of the confusion with the different flavours floating around

Actually I seem to remember Chris.Day mentioning it also works with the standard Hauppauge IR software, so you might be able to get it mostly working by set the remote type to 'Hauppauge Remote' and click the 'Fix Hauppauge Remote Settings' button.
