i have an idea for a little skin project but i need some Mac osX screenshots and don't have access to one...can anyone help?
i only need a few specific things over a solid color background..
also, was wondering if the graphics were natively seperate,if so instead of screenshot, just a copy of the files.. [some of the basic icon set and a few windows]
should be very interesting when i'm finished..Smile
thanx in advance!

hmmm, something like a desktop shot from an OSX desktop just after installation with standard stuff, with solid color background, preferrably a really odd color not in many icons like liime green or something, original size, with maybe a empty text file open in a window...
and the icons from the toolbar from the bottom Smile [large icons if possible]
and maybe a classic osx background or two...Smile
not sure how large yahoo will take as attahments,or you could post them here and i guess i can kill the thread later when we're done..
however you'd like to do it..

hm, i'll post a few shots with black background. concerning the icons: you should have a look at the forums at aqua-soft.org and at deviantart.com. you normaly are free to use them and you don't have to cut them out of the dock.

i'll post the things in zip-format to the forums. shouldn't take too much. remember: macintosh-screenshots are in pdf-format.

some sick color that won't be in any icons,or at least not much of them...Smile

yea, i found a few sets of icons, just weren't sure which ones were the 'standards' and nobody posts a plain vanilla desktop! lol
thanx for the quick help, i should have a concept screen shot in about a day..
[a whole skin could take a while]

and just came upon a killer idea about transcoding..[hopefully using new 'transcode' button in vid library!]
do you know anythig about the auto-transcoding from processing page in config? what can i do to make it kick off soon as possible? i may be able to substitute mencoder and use the profiles still along with user selectable 'aging' to transcode from a que using a proxy...Smile
[i never could get the dang thing to work at all before, but new version fixed all sorts of things! lol]

here you are

remember, the winxp zip-program has some problems with mac-zips. just use winzip, filzip, winrar or anything else to open the container.
you'll find two screenshots, one with a sick background (green), the other with the normal mac-os background. i've added the standard-programs to the dock, so you can extract the icons.
