Hi,

Anyone know if this card is supported? I know the Nova-s pci is but obviously this is a bit different!

No, I dont think it has the required BDA drivers.

To be honest, I dont know. You're probably best to check it has BDA drivers before buying it.

About a year ago I did use a Nova-S. It didnt have BDA drivers itself, but I was able to install the TechnoTrend drivers to get it working. I'm not sure if this is still possible or not.

I pretty sure the newer Nova-S-Plus and Nova-S2 have BDA drivers, but I've not seend any posts yet from users with these devices.

Hi - any progress or news on this card ?
Does gbpvr work with it ?
How does it treat the dual digital and analog inputs - does it see them as one or 2 devices ?

It's in my machine but not setup yet as haven't figured out the LNB settings yet. Will try and do another install tonight. (Last time only found 11 sat channels and no composite/s-video in either!)

It should work with the digital side of the card, but there is no builtin support for the analog side of this card. If you're lucky, analog might work with this plugin: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=2753

Sigh. Just spent hour or so trying to get it to work, just starts finding channles and then crashes. Then comes up with a Drwatson error which I've never seen before! Does anyone have a dvb-s card working without any problems in the UK?

I do have a NOVA-S-Plus and living in Switzerland. I am using Hauppauge MCE drivers 88x_2_108_23237_inf.zip (26.10.2005) with mixed results. Last night I was able to scan ASTRA and HOTBIRD. But when I tryed a rescan the system was failing as well ... need to investigate more.
