I have uploaded a contourhc skin for musiclibrary2 available in this thread

There are couple of things I can't find out how to fix in it though,

there should be what I think is a Track Number display in the top right hand corner of the screen, but on my system this always appears as "Track #" so I have commented it out.

and on the popup which appears, to supply file details when you press enter on a track the previous and next buttons are not quite postioned in the popup area

If anybody knows how to correct these two elements please let me know

When the plugin starts it is sorted into ALL-ALL artist / album order but the tracks appear random, would it be possible to have the sort also include the tracks so they are also alphabetic, or would this take too long on large collections

They should ne alphabetic unless you've got track number sorting turned on. i think that's what you commented out. It's not the actual track number, it's the sort order.

Theres an option in the home menu to cahnge to sort order for that session, or in the config app you can set the default.

Thanks for the contour skin, i had only just this weekend downloaded that skin with the intent of skinning it for ML2. now i don't have too

How are you finding Ml2 now?? i know you had a fair number of issues when i release those betas.

Yes thats what it will be, I do have track number sorting turned on and didnt grasp the significance, I also keep forgetting about the home button and the options it brings up !! perhaps worth adding something for it alongside the coloured buttons on the screens, perhaps its also worth thinking if the display "Track #" is actually clear to the end-users, maybe change it to "Sorted by Name" or "Sorted by Track Number"

If I use the plugin on the PC it is pretty flawless and is my favourite music plugin, but the mvp it still has some strange behaviours which are not always consistent

these are the things that still dont work correctly on the MVP

sometimes if you delete a track from a playlist it will restart the playlist from the beginning

when a playlist ends it doesnt start a new one, it does try too but you hear about a second or two of music then you see the stop icon in the top right corner of the tv screen and the playlist stops

there is still something strange about multiple collections which contain m3u files again if these exist then when a playlist stops, and presumably because on the mvp a new doesnt start properly then you are left at the playlist screen with a list of the m3u playlists available, I can't work out what causes this but its very frustrating and my solution has been to delete all the playlists !!

hopefully when you finally get the MVP you are waiting on you'll be able to iron out these small problems

thanks for creating what is now easily the best music plugin even with the minor mvp problems

Hi back again. FINALLY got my MVP. It took so long. Was waiting 2 months!!!

Anyway started looking at all this stuff today. Yeah I'll figure out that I'm an MVP and suppress the display of the current playing position.

As for you other one. I turned on jukebox mode for 20 seconds and that worked.....and actually i've just heard it kick off again 'cos i haven't turned off the MVP

But for the random playlist one I had it finish a playlist and then what it seemed to do was start another one (so that bit worked), but then very quickly stop just as your described.....but a second or so later it started another playlist and off it went.

Do you experience that?? I'm not quite sure what I'll be able to do about this.

I haven't yet looked into the M3U stuff, but that's because I use very little M3U's (well none actually).

Bloody brilliant.....but I'm biased

Acutally on the MVP I find my skin files way too small, but then again I am pushing it to an old 14" TV.
