Hi,

i've installed gbpvr yesterday and generally everything works out fine except a problem with scheduled recording out of the standby-mode.

I scheduled a recording and sent the computer to the standby-mode (S3 Standby). But the scheduled time expires without waking the computer up and start recording. #

Otherwise it is possible to wake the computer up by touching the mouse for example. I installed a tool called "sleeper" (http://www.passmark.com/products/sleeper.htm) and sent the PC into S3-standby-mode for 60 seconds. After those 60 seconds the sleeper-tool woke my pc out of standby-mode. So generally it wake-up out of S3 seems working, but not with gbpvr.

Do you have any tips, what else i could try? I don't want to use the S1 mode.

PS: Please excuse my poor english

It'll be limitation or bug in the drivers for whatever capture device you're using.

GB-PVR works wonderful from S3 Mode. I tested it with 2 Tuner's at same time by varios channels.

Planned recording, powered down system and let it all be.

All is good and fine. The whole recordings are available.

Sorry, that i've forgotten to tell you, that my capture device is a Hauppauge PVR 250.

So do you think a driver update could fix the problem? In the past i downloaded my driver updates from the official german Hauppauge homepage. Are there any other (unofficial) drivers, that could work better?

Perhaps one of these?

I can't say anyting to this. The last Driver there is dated to December 2004.

And afterward one of this could help:
