I have the LiveTV routed to the Hauppauge's TV out (A/V), that part works ok.

However, when I select FM radio, the output goes only to my PC's soundcard, and not to the TV.
Note that this lack of sound-routing also goes for Internet-Radio.

I've done some reading on 'crossbar' and I think that's where I should be setting a cross-connection. I haven't been able to figure out the details of such a connection however.

Someone have an idea on how to 'tee' the sound so that Soundcard-out ALSO goes to the PVR350's TV-audio-out ?

Most people plug the PVR350's audio-out into the line-in on their sound card, then line-out on the sound card to the tv. This gives them one output that handles audio for both music and video.

Wow, quick response

I guess that would be a semi-solution:
- I'd have to take apart the 'scart' plug from Hauppauge (or get extra wiring)
- The 'other' cable set for that plug is 'output only', so I'd need info on the plug ( and/or the scart cabling layout to separate the audio)
- Not ALL sound should go to TV (e.g. When running WinTV, there's a notable sound delay between 'local' and 'tv out' ).

== I use the PVR out, also because
- it has OSD (as opposed to the TV out of my Radeon 9200)
- the gbpvr can be minimized, while output still continues
- it doesn't take cpu power (well, if I use 'overlay' it runs at < 4% cpu)
- its color/brightness is better than my Radeon's TV out

Is there a registry setting or some other mechanism to get the output instead ?

As related....
Composite 2 input has it sound on Line-in (already).

How do I specify for that input "where" the sound is ?
Didn't find that option in gbpvr ?

Gerard.

Hi,
i have the same issue, the thing is that i tried the line out of the pvr350 back into the sound card, but there's a slight delay between voice/picture.
maybe a faster better sound card could be used.
But that would be even more troublesome Smile

any other ideas?

If you're using the PVR350's tuner for capture, the audio is always routed to "Audio Tuner In".

If you're using composite/svideo, then its routed to "Audio Line In".

This is not configurable, but it also wont help your situation. The only way to play audio out of the PVR350 decoder, is as the audio component of an MPEG file. You cant send PCM or MP3 audio out of this output.
