Since the upgrade to 96.08 I've noticed that on occassion GBPVR will lock up when prompting for resume. After selecting a recording the first frame of the recording is displayed and the prompted dialog box is displayed but GBPVR hangs and I cannot select either resume or restart. This only happens sometimes, not always, and sometimes I can get out of it by hitting the back/exit button or the menu button on the remote. However, last night it was completely locked. This is having an undesireable effect on the WAF so I've disabled prompt for resume for the time being. I wasn't sure which logs would be useful so I've attached them all. My system:

GBPVR 96.08
VMR9
PVR-150
Radeon 9550
Intel 3.0 Ghz
1 Gb Ram
SATA 260Gb HD for E: audio/video
IDE 160 Gb HD for C:

Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to give.

Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone have an idea what might be causing this?

Are you using the Cyberlink Decoder with VMR9?

The Cyberlink decoder is incompatible with VMR unless you add some specific Cyberlink registry settings. This will result in missing OSD graphics (like the resume prompt).

Sub,

I'm using the Intervideo NonCSS Video Decoder with VMR9. The graphic displays, but I'm unable to select either resume or restart - the screen / gbpvr is just locked. I'm going to try a complete uninstall and reinstall with the new (96.12) version.

Sorry, I dont know then. I've not heard other reports of this.

Maybe you should disable the resume prompt.

LoL - yeah, that was my solution as well, just thought maybe you had some idea. I've done a complete uninstall and reinstall with 96.12 and I've played with the prompt/resume a couple of times - seems to be okay now, but I'm noticing the preview window on the main screen is gone now !?!

Okay - the preview window disappearing was apparantly an incompatiblity with 96.12 and the VAPanel plugin. I've taken care of that, and I've enabled prompt for resume. So far, no issues. Prompt for resume seems to be working just fine. 96.12 looks great - thanks Sub!
