Shedule EPG data collection from 3rd Party App

I have just installed GB-PVR, I have be using Showshifter and myHTPC before that. I was surpised how easy this was to configure and it was up and running within an hour, this was so much easier than the previous applications anyway -

I have 1 question that is not intuive to me from the set up, I would like to run a XMLTV collection program at scheduled times to update the show guide data - but where is this configured ? it must be possible as I have seen articles relating to EPG updates.

it's on the main "capture sources" page of the configuration. see here;

Before GB-PVR tries to update the EPG, it'll run a batch file called UpdateEPG.bat if it exists. If you need to run some third party app before the EPG update, this is probably the best place to put it.

Just create the file, and add in whatever commands you need. Run it manually first to confirm it is doing what you expect.
