Applied the patch and after heavy use last night have not had any disconnects while watching video since. Using dongle.bin. Tried out the gbpvr.bin, without much luck (disconnects, lockups).
What, me worry?

My experience was the same. Playback of live TV seems to be at issue, with gbmvp.bin, but playback of AVI's was fine. I did not test for very long I'll look at it a little more tonight.

Still testing the patch, but wanted to ask if anyone else here is having problems with changing channels in live tv mode on the MVP?

In the couple of days I've been using the patch I've had zero reboots of the MVP whereas before there were two or three an evening. This with dongle.bin.
Seeing as we seem to be on a winner I fired up gbmvp.bin and it started off fine. Most noticable was the lack of "stutter" during the first second of so playing a recording. However it has been rebooting a fair bit when moving around in menu's - back and forth to the weather plugin for example.
I've gone back to dongle.bin for the time being I'm afraid.

I do now, but for me it is USBUIRT related ... still trying to track it down. Analogue changes are OK, darn STB won't change.

I played with the gbmpv.bin and the new patch last night. I'm happy to say that I found live TV worked much better.

I'm still having some weird problems with returning to the main menu from several plugin's, core or 3rd party.

When I return to the main menu from TV guide, Weather or My Music (examples) I get the "object reference . . . . blah blah blah" We've all seen. What's funny is that I don't get it on the host computer. Just the MVP. Is happining to others? Its not all the time. Just some of the time. I'll try to note exactly what I did before that happens the next time I work on it.

In addition sometimes my MVP display will freeze and go sort of white. At this point the only fix is to powercycle the MVP. This doesn't happen very often but its generally after the "object reference" error.

Can you repeat the problem, then zip and attach the gbpvr.exe.log file?

I'll get it tonight. If I restart the recording service it restarts the logs right? Would that give you the best logs?

Yeah, restart the logs before reproducing.

It's like the video is slowing down and jittering... RR the video then it plays okay then goes right back again.

Under MVP what do you most of you have for settings?

I just started having this problem. It is like the computer is pausing playback for a split sec or trying to find the file. It seems to be more of a issue with recorded shows then Moves I have with DVDtoMPG.
