The logs look fine. The fact its not working for you in WinTV makes me think there is something fundamentally wrong with either the drivers or the hardware. I suggest you focus your efforts on trying to get it working with WinTV first, and then move on to GB-PVR.
I tried switching the connection to S-video.
After I did I got this error message.

I reckon you've either bought a dud, or the drivers arent installed properly.
