Hi there,

I have been banging my head against the wall trying to build an xmltv file that I can use which contains all the standard freeview tv and radio stations.

Does anyone have one they dont mind posting?

cheers,

Have you tried XMLTV GUI from http://www.birtles.org.uk? It uses the Radio Times website for TV info. and can pull radio info. from Bleb and put them both in the same XML file.

Cheers,
Brian

hey there, thanks for the response.

Yeah I have been trying that but must be doing something wrong, because no matter what I do I seem to be missing channels. It is driving me mad.

If anyone has an xml file, I'll happily chuck a few bucks into a paypal account for it. You can get a pint, I can get the missus off my back. Smile

What part of the uk are you from? I have the configuration for London and SE if you want it. Not all the channels i.e minus the shopping and radio channels though.

i dont think there is a way to get full uk radio listings in xmltv, the ones that bleb provides only cover the more popular channels. For tv channels (especially freeview) the radio times listings should cover all channels. you could always try moaning at radio times to add radio listings to the xmltv feed, it might work. If you can find a simple to parse data source for radio listings i would be happy to try and add them to the xmltv gui program for you

I don't listen to the stations so it's not an issue for me, when I said no shopping or radio I meant I don't want this cluttering up my epg.
