I am not good of tracking packages over the network. But I will try to answer this with my solution.

Sometimes I have my mediamvp stucks at "loading application" over my Belkin F5D7230-4 wireless bridge. My solution is to use the "restart" from Hauppage mediaMVP application to load to dongle.bin. This sometimes load the Hauppage interface and sometimes load the GBPVR interface. Either way I disable the MVPmedia services after the dongle.bin successfully loaded on the MVP over the wireless bridge.

My second solution is using my notebook at the trouble wireless bridge and use the gbpvr or hauppage mvp software on the notebook to get the dongle.bin loads to the MVP which stucks at "loading application".

As long as the dongle.bin loads into the mvp, it is very happy with the 54g wireless bridge connection to the main computer server.

I hope that helps.

Best solution I've come up with is the following:
Set mvpmediasvc to autostart .. leave the other one disabled.
Start gbpvr
Reset the MVP .. this will get dongle.bin from the hauppauge server and then connect to gbpvr for streaming.
Works so far.
Thanks for all the tips,
Greg.

You didnt actually mention stopping mvpmediasvc. You need to. It cant be left running.

When you do this, you end up with the GUI served by GB-PVR, but the files being played by the Hauppauge software. This kind of works, but its missing a lot of the logic which is shared between the two. It causes problems with skipping/FF/RW/Live TV etc.
