I have been battling this for quite some time and am now really wanting to get this taken care of as I believe it is also part of the reason I have problems with other plugins.
Running straight GBPVR Blue with minimal to no plugins I get the following error in GBPVR.exe.log
4/1/2006 1:42:51 PM.109 ERROR [2] Unabled to determine disk usage: System.Runtime.InteropServices.InvalidComObjectException: COM object that has been separated from its underlying RCW can not be used.
at System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.GetIUnknownForObject(Object o)
at System.Management.ManagementScope.GetIWbemServices()
at System.Management.ManagementObject.Get()
at xae10db17d26ba033.xaff7107ea01e1347.Activate()
Basicaly, when I go to the System menu within GBPVR I just get a blank screen and get the messages above in the gbpvr.exe.log
I have tried it while zonealarm and other programs are off with no luck. I have tried to verify that all of the main services are started for the computer with the problem . When I check the same services are active on another computer of mine which works great for the "system status" as well as video archive plugin panels I see nothing that jumps out at me.
How does the system status work? Is there a way to invoke the same commands from outside of GBPVR in order to pinpoint what is causing the problem? Any help would be appreciated!
For what ever reason I have never been able to get the vidoe archive plugins working either. Not sure if there is a common thread to both problems but I wouldn't doubt it.
