How to Record Transport Stream

I'm trying to record HDTV in .ts file instead of dvr-ms. I changed the BDA multiplexer in MISC tab from "Microsoft DVR-MS" to "transport stream" and restarted GBPVR.

The recording file is still dvr-ms file instead of ts. What am I missing? I believe I don't need to install any multiplexer for "TS" format. My FusionHDTV app records in .tp format flawlessly.

The 'transport stream' option is only intended for my debugging use. Its only tested against DVB-S.

I'll settle with DVR-MS format then.

I would be interested to see the log of what happens when you try to record to a transport stream though. If you could zip and attach a GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log after attempting a recording, it'll be useful.

Here is one, would be nice to have this working as would solve a number of the hassles I'm currently having attempting to archive dvr-ms recordings with ac3 sound. It seems no muxer out there can handle .mpg conversion dvr-ms with ac3.
