I don't live in Germany, so I can't really vouch for the following thread's usefulness, but it might be worth reading it:

OK ... so far so good ...

This is really a great forum and it demonstrates that real good software has usually real good users.

And if it goes on like today I think I will become a good and enthusiastic User of GB-PVR too.

Thanks a lot ...

So what will I do this evening ? (I'm actually at work with no htpc here ;-) )

I will try to setup my radio channels manually (thx to elite)

I will have another try on xmltv, with the new manual I found (thx to stefan)

I will try to use short skip instead of FF (Thx to ricklous)

BUT !

What about the CD-Player plugin ???

Does anyone know ??

I have to let CDs play, or my wife will get very angry ... and that's not funny ... believe me.

Sorry, I don't know the answer to that one... I've never used it myself. I'm sure someone will come around and tell you how to fix it... if not, try to start another thread on that subject alone.

The CDPlayer plugin has its own thread, maybe you should try asking the users there...

Hi again ... just to keep you informed :

CDPlayer now does it with sound ;-)
I activated "enable digital audio" in the systems "sound tab" and that's it!

FM Radio plays any station I (manually) add
So the scan seems not to be perfect yet.

I changed FF to skip and don't loose no sound no more.

Thank you all, that was really a good day today

I finally have my GBPVR working as I wanted it to ... (except the xmltv thing but this will be next and last for tonight.

THANK YOU !

Good news =) Always nice to hear that things work, and good job on finding the reason for CDPlayer not working! Smile
