zero-size files accumulating

my machine seems to be accumulating zero-sized files in c:\Program Files\gbpvr. each one is the name of a previously recorded show... is this normal?

also, if some temp files are needed, maybe they should be created in a subdirectory to avoid potential name conflicts.

What's your setup? Are they mpg's

I get the same thing...they are the name of recording folders, but they are in the GB dir (my recording dir is on a separate drive altogether). They have no size or extension.

Same here, I was just wondering about those yesterday, but had already forgotten about them. Don't know how long they've been there. I'm running 92.12, I think.

They've been around for a little while....not common, and they may clean themselves up...it's just been a random thing for last version or two. I can't find the harm in them other than clutter (and one I coulnd't detele once w/ some effort because of something in the file name and no extension).

Nope. I never do a manual recording and I have them as well.

Are they created all the time for you? If so, reproduce the problem then zip and attach your logs and a description of what the file is called and confirm its zero byte etc.

I couldn't tell you how they happen. There was one last night, and it was the 3rd show that night. It was also the first time it happened in a long time.

I don't have a non-error log, and I know I can't reproduce, as I have no idea how to make it happen.

Again, I find it harmless, and it's not common. I have always suspected it was a plugin, personally.

jorm- manually deleting recordings as in "rm -rf"

sub- they don't seem to be created all the time. each file is 0-size and has the name of a previously recorded show (same name as the recording folder that the show went into). e.g. "The Simpsons" this is in c:\Program Files\gbpvr, whereas my recordings go into D:\tv

i will delete the ones i've got and try to watch for it to happen again.
