I received my card today and installed it (works with WinTV 2000)
Windows and Belarc see it as Hauppauge WinTV-PVR PCI II (Encoder-16). At least that is the only driver it seems to want to install.

I am completely unable to get it up and going with gbpvr, but then again I am new [Image: smile.gif]
Please help

Thats not giving me much to go on.

What are you trying to do, and what happens when you try it? Do you get an error message? If so, what is it?

I must appologize... I had been up for some time working on this and that and just happened to have 3 systems flaking in some way or the other all at once and two phones ringing  [Image: smile.gif]

So goes life I guess..

In any case what I am supposed to have is an OEM version of the WinTV PVR250MCE (thus the question as to the identification in Belarc/windows).

I downloaded your newest version today and installed it after installing the Hauppauge software etc. and verifying the card did at least work with their stuff.

I have attempted to use Blackbird, Rosyln, and PVR250 and it tells me that it cannot communicate with the service when I press the live tv button.

Any ideas?

Can you email me (support@devnz.com) the GBPVR.exe.log and GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log. Send them after trying to view live TV. If you find a GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log, then send this to. These files might not be in you GB-PVR directory, so it might be worth doing a quick search of the hard drive for GBPVR*.log
