Hi I have had this card for 4 mos or so. But I have been unhappy with the scheduling software that came with it. I spent 3 hours reading through this forum last night tryingto figure out why I can't view live Tv with this software. I have the Hauppauge PVR 150 TO GO card. If I understand what I have been reading it sounds like I need to install Mpeg2 codec for it to work?
When I try and run live TV it gives a msg saying failed to locate configured device. Here are the specs of my Machine WIn XP pro Sp2 P4 3.0 HT 1 gig dual channel 2 120 gig drives. Here is a log that I just captured as well. NOt sure if this will help in solving my problem. Any help would be great as I consider myself somewhat technical but can't seem to figure this out. I really hate reinstalling everything for this card but that might be what is needed.
LOG:See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

There isnt such a card that I'm aware of. There is a PVR150, which is supported by GB-PVR. There is a WinTV 2 GO or something like that, that isnt supported by GB-PVR. If the model you're referring is that second one, this could explain your problems.

Hi Sub Yeah I do have the WIN TV GO Plus card. So I am curious what makes this card inadaquate then the others people are able to use? This is very disappointing. I guess I'm going to have to scrap this card If I ever want to do anything speacial with it.

It doesnt have the hardware MPEG2 encoder that I wrote GB-PVR to use. I personally have no interest in software encoder cards like the one you have, so I havnt built in any support for this type device.

You might be able to get it to work with this plugin http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=2753 but realistically you need a supported device like the Hauppauge PVR150 if you want it to work properly etc.
