Hi all,

Just noticed that the live tv buffer files don't seem to be delted unless the entire recording service has been reset. Is that what it is supposed to do? If so is there a workaround? My system is very stable and GBPVR runs perfectly. I don't anticipate rebooting this PC or restarting the the recording service on any kind of regular schedule but now I am afraid that my drive will get filled up with live tv buffer files.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

They're usually deleted a few minutes after you stop watching the file.

Thanks sub, I will keep an eye on it, but I think mine is not deleting them unless the service is restarted. Will keep you posted.

ramnut-

Mine aren't getting deleted either, no matter how I stop the MVP or the server, they never get deleted. I posted a question in the MVP forum a few days ago, but no one responded. I have a feeling there is a bug, but I don't know how to track it down, the log files show nothing about "trying to delete" the buffer files.

My solution was to write a short batch script that deletes *.* in the buffer directory, and schedule it to run at 4am every day... it's a hack, but at least my hard drive wont fill up after a week of live tv.
