I just got a all in one kameleon 8 remote...

wondering if the gb pvr is usable on it

if not is there any remote that works with it????

There is no builtin support for this remote, though the issue is normally the IR Reciever used rather than the remote. You should be able use this remote with a supported receiver such as the USB-UIRT.

The one that comes with the PVR150 only works with the PVR150 remote.

what code set would it be because for pvr codes I have panasonic, philips, replaytv, sonic blue, sony, tivo.....

the kameleon is a learning remote right? just program your pvr-150 remote keys into the kameleon.

There is another option. This remote is somewhat JP1 capable. Meaning that from what I have ready you could make a variation on the JP1 cable and then be able to program this remote using your computer. See this website for some information: http://www.remotecentral.com/urc9960/index9.htm

One for all remote are nutorious for having very little memory for learned commands. So there may not even be enough memory to learn all the command from that 45 button remote.
If you look at the JP1 stuff, there is also a method to create you our WAV upgrade files and then upgrade the remote using your computers speaker (no jp1 required). Its basically the same procedure that One For All uses, expect you need to find the upgrade files to use to create the WAV files.
I think I posted recently (July timeframe) the JP1 device file that I created for the 45 button remote. So you should be able to find that.

I picked up an RCA learning remote and it learned every command from my hauppague 34 button except the two I need most, menu and go. :-(

Is there something special about those buttons? Anyone else have that problem?
