I can't get the Dutch translations to work. Where do I put the language.xml file? It says 'put it in your GB-PVR directory' on the plugins page, so I put it in C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr, but it doesn't work for some reason.

I also tried the plugins and skin subdirectories as well, but no luck either.

Am I missing something?

Did you remove the extra extension after language.xml ? (.nl I assume)

Hi Nicolai,

Yes I removed the extension. I also tried your Danish translation but no luck there either. So, where should I put it?

TIA

hmm, it should work if it's at C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\language.xml

you have to restart GBpvr of course and it only works in the resent versions.

That's strange. It is there and I'm running the latest version. Maybe something went wrong in the installation over an older version. I noticed I had lost my weather settings after installation, so maybe this one is related. I'll try a fresh reinstall asap (when I don't have a recording scheduled. You get addicted to automated recording very easy [Image: biggrin.gif] ).

Thanks anyway and I'll report the outcome when I've made some progress...

Installed latest version and now it works fine ;-)
It just seems that the translations are not complete, I still see some English text. I guess the .xml file needs to have the exact English source text in order to translate properly.

As an example, I still see:
'Browse the TV Guide and select programmes to record'

When I look into the .xml file, I see that it has a '.' at the end of the sentence and indeed, when I remove it, I see the Dutch text.

I'll try to come up with a complete list (or updated file). Is MaBo still maintaining it?

Just noticed that there is a later version of the dutch language.xml from MaBo in here, but it was never put on the plugins page. I'll give it a try.

Hansi,
Yes, I posted that update some time ago. I never checked whether the download got updated.

There are still a few items missing in the translation file. But I tend to miss them. Either because I'm used to reading English, or because I don't use a module.

If you come across such ommissions, please post them, so I can update the language file further.

Greetz,
MaBo
