Dual tuner set up not working for me.

I just today brought a usb pvr2 and already have a pvr 250 (rev16 chip) but for the life off me I cannot get both to work in gbpvr. I have set up the usb pvr2 as capture device 1 and the pvr250 as capture device 2. The usb pvr2 works but the pvr 250 gets failed to communicate error you can schedule a recording and both devices seem to be recording but only the usb pvr 2 records anything. Am I missing something obvious?

OK I've manage to set the pvr250 as first recording device and now the usb pvr2 doesn't communicate with the device.

I have tried sagetv and that works just fine but I have also tried gotttvpvr and that doesn't work any ideas? anyone?

Are you using the current version (v0.22)?

Are you sure the capture device isn't already in use?

If you stop all PVR software fire up graphedit, click the "Insert menu" filter and expand the "WDM streaming crossbar devices" section, you should see listed:

- Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Crossbar
- Hauppauge WinTV PVR USB2 Crossbar

Do you see both of these entries?

Hi,
I have ran graphedit and both the PVR PCI II and USB2 show uner crossbar devices I had a quick look around with graphedit and the USB2 doesn't show uner WDM Streaming Multiplexer Devices not sure if this has any effect?
Every other WDM option that has the PVR PCI II also has the USB2 other than the one I listed.
I am using the current version of gbpvr but the previous verson was the same.

Can you try removing your capture sources, then separately create and try each of the PVR250 and USB2 capture sources. I want see if they're both working independently.

The PVR250 works but not the USB2 all I get is a blank black screen. I think its a windows problem as I tried a standard 878A card with got all media and go the same thing.

In graphedit it is exactly as you say. I have the base install drivers and the lastest install on top of that. I have tried with and without the latest also I have tried shspvrs latest.
The wintv 2000 programme can see the usb2 pvr device.

At least this time all the filters are being found correctly. It just looks like one of the pines isn't connecting. Try disabling the 'Use SBE option' and try again, then email the gbpvrrecordingservice.exe-native.log to me at support@devnz.com. If it doesn't work I've got another suggestion to try. We'll talk about this via email.
