Tip: Technisat Skystar 1 - TwinHan DVB-S clone

Hi all.

If anyone has the Technisat Skystar 1 DVB-S PCI card... this card works using the TwinHan BDA drivers. I installed the XP ones using the latest download from the TwinHan site - however it requires the following addition to bda.ini:

Is the Technisat Skystar1 a clone of the Twinhan card? I didnt know that.

Can anybody tell me exactly which TwinHan drivers to install for a Skystar 1 Rev.1.3
I can't install the driver: Hardware not found, even though the Technotrend
drivers work fine .

I tried installing the PCI drivers from the Twinhan site and then the Twinhan BDA drivers. I can detect channels, but when I want to view them I see only a couple of frames before the picture goes blank.

In the Skystars own software (before installing the Twinhan drivers) I had a similar problem where only a couple of frames showed before the picture froze.

However, with the Skystar drivers ProgDVB shows the video fine, but loses sync with the audio.

Has anyone been able to get a Skystar 1C card working with the Twinhan drivers?
