Hi,

Just been trying to install the videoarchive plugin, specifically to use it for it's dvd2mpeg function. I've got all the right versions of dvd decrypter, besweet and mplex.exe. I've set the plugin up in config, specified the folders for temp, and final recordings etc...

however, when I run the plugin, it starts dvd decrypter very briefly, then closes it down, and ejects my dvd.

If i run dvd decrypter manually, it's fine, picks up the dvd, and i can demux it using the command line switch as specified in the plugin's setup page(with the variables changed to suit)

Any clue as to what I'm missing/doing wrong?

Any input appreciated.

Cheers

also, I notice that when I click the dvd to mpeg button in gbpvr, the screen correctly lists my source drive and the title of the dvd, but in the lower box, to set the target directory, it has "DVDs" in there but there seems to be no way to change this...is this normal? is it just an information box that tells you where it will be recorded based on what you set up in the config?

I've seen DVD decrypter stop quickly some times too, nd I have not yet figured out why. As to the second issue, the list box lists all su birectories under your DVD directory and lets you select which subdirectory to store the conversion in. If you don;t have any subdirectories, then it just list that main directory and does not let you change it. It sounds like you don;t have any subdirectories.

I had a problem similar to this a while back. I think what happened was I specified the root drive of one of my partitions (D:\ i think) as the DVD destination and as it was searching for sub-directories, it bombed out as it couldn't access the System Volume Information folder. Changing the destination fixed this.

Jeff-
That would make sense, in fact....quite obvious when you think about it!!!! doh:confused:

Bluesxman-
I have it set to D:\Media\Dvdmpegs so that shouldn't be the problem.....hmmmm

any more for anymore?

Cheers all

I have a new version that I've released to a few people. I am still tinkering and adding things. If you send me a message with your email, I'll send you a copy.
