My Videos stopped working

For some reason unknown to me, the My Videos plugin stopped coming up when I run gbpvr. It just gets ignored..like its not there.... I looked around to see what might have happened and I see this in the logs..

Two questions: is this pathname correct with the double \\?
C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\\plugins\MyVideosPlugin.dll

is this a problem? dont know what it means.
System.Xml.XmlException: The root element is missing.

the filelist is failing to load, which probably just means you havent configured it correctly or at all. just check all your settings in the config app.

Sorry to be dense here...but which filelist is failing to load?
I think the pointers to my files (where the videos live) are correct ....
I have been looking at the gbpvr config screens and the plugin settings but I can't see where there is an error.
Any other pointers you can provide? Thanks

the file list is the list of files, the thing you use to browse for your files. that is failing to load, it will be your configuration (perhaps a skin, but probably configuration).

well, somehow, MyVideos.xml got corrupted....it was empty.
I renamed it and ran gbpvr and the MyVideos icon came up.

I had that happen on upgrading, to both videos (v3) and pictures (newest).

The trick was to:
1) Say (or scream, for greater impact), "what the ******....what the ****** is ****** going on? c'mon....you ******.....******* work! If you don't ****** work I'm going to ****** you with a ****** stick in the ****** and then ****** you in the ****** until you ****** ************!"

2) Recopy the My files for your plugins back into the folder. You may or may not need to open the CP, uncheck, close, reopen, and recheck.

I'm not sure of the order, but it worked

It happened on the last update, too.
