Maybe your video card drivers dont fully support VMR9. It might be worth trying VMR7 and Overlay.

Ignoring LiveTV, does playback of existing mpg files work?

Is there a growing livetv-x.mpg file in your recordings directory?

Are you using WinTVCap or Direct Recording? WinTVCap has settings in its ini file for controlling the tuning.

Direct Recording has settings for the tuning type cable/antenna and the country. The channels are tuned using predefined tables which are specific to each country. More info can be found here http://msdn.microsoft.com/library....ng.asp

Which country are you in?

Tuning should work. Its the same for every country around the world, just the frequencies vary. I guessing Denmark uses the western europe table, http://msdn.microsoft.com/library....ope.asp .
