All, I have read the previous posts in regards to sound and the newest release of GBPVR. This seems to be a different issue.

Here's whats happening:

All video whether pre-recorded, played off my internal network, downloaded tv as well as recorded tv and live tv suffer from an audio problem. The reason I don't believe this to be a PVR-150 issue is my video output uses my Radeon 9200 and Soundblaster for output and it affects not only tv, but already recorded shows that worked correctly before the update.

The Audio is there, but it is very very very low, when I turn my home theater up LOUD there is audio, but not to the volume of expected. All straight audio still works at normal levels i.e.: mp3 and net radio playback.

Am I wrong in thinking that this is not a pvr-150 driver problem?

Suggestions?

Play one of the same files in WMP or other program and see how it sounds there. If they are the same, then you know it's a system issue.

Sound plays fine from outside GBPVR (windows media player) and on a different system as well.

It may or may not be the cause of your problem, but try deleting the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Devnz\LastVolume regustry setting.

You must have just had the volume turned down.

I had the same problem, and deleting that registry key fixed it. Thanks!

Im guessing this probably isnt the same problem but with 95.16 I dont get any sound on live tv. its fine for recorded stuff through gbpvr and wmp but for live tv theres nothing. Its a Nova T PCI so its not that the audio input is muted cuase as far as I know it jsut uses the wave system. Deleting the registry key didnt help so is there anthing else I could try or what other info would help you.

reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your gbpvr.exe-native.log file.

Some how I fixed it. I tried changing the audio renderer to system default and it worked and it now works with all the other audio renders which is strange because none of them worked last time.

Thanks for the help though. I attatched the log anyway incase u want to see what the problem was but its working now. Thanks.
