no channel change on recording

I have just setup gbpvr with a Hauppauge 150 card w/hauppague remote using a sat receiver box (DirectTv) as the source tuner. I configured the card and the remote and setup gbpvr (along with Zapit as the source for EPG data). I can bring up the gbpvr client and view the tv guide , view live tv and change the channels via my hauppauge remote just fine. But when I schedule a recording it only records the current channel set on the sat box, not the channel that I set to record. For some reason gbpvr is sending the remote control signals to the sat box when I'm viewing live tv but not sending them when it's time to change channels for a recording session.

Set you capture source to use the ".exe channel changer" and point it at c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\haupblast.exe

That helps but when I tried to record something on channel 263 it tried to go to channel 63. Should I be setting the parameters to something? I have the pading checbox and the 3 digit checkbox both checked.

IR Blasters are not an exact science, and can be prone to this sort of thing. If you find its regularly missing digits, you could try tweaking the values in the 'Advanced Config' button in the Hauppauge BlastCFG app.
