How to configure GB-PVR to bypass kmixer?
I just bought the Chaintech AV-710 audio card, and planning to use the high-sample rate channels, but I know that windows uses internally 'kmixer' or whatever, to pass all audio to the audio card. I know this mixer downgrades all sampling rates to 41KHz or something. Some players have options to bypass the 'kmixer' and use what is called in windows 'Kernel Streaming' (players like winamp, foobar2000 ...etc.).
is there a way to configure GB-PVR (maybe config file or something) to bypass the kmixer and use Kernel Streaming, or ASIO mode or whatever?
I am very critical about the audio quality, since I play a lot of music video DVDs from the harddisk, and any degradation caused by windows or what not is not favorable.
Is there a way to use the winamp plugin (kinda like the meedio winamp plugin) to resolve this?
Thanks for help in advance...
