I have V0.95.16 and Win XP, SP2. This morning, I attempted to upgrade the EPG. I use Zap2it. I received the following message (which never happened before): "Your EPG source does not appear to be configured correctly. Please check the EPG Source settings, and try again".
I checked the source, and it seemed to be OK. Incidentally, I always have to disable Norton Internet Security so that the EPG can be updated.
Becoming frustrated, I uninstalled/reinstalled GBPVR two or three times. No help.
I notice that sometimes, Config hangs up, and I have to get out with the Cntl, Alt, Delete.
I also notice that when clicking on Capture Sources, the number of entries of my Cable line increases from time to time. In other words, Cable appears 4 or 5 times. Most of them are empty, when I click on Edit.
Any suggestions?

It may be a continuation of the problems zap2it were having yesterday: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=11935

I got the same message when I updated to the current version of GBPVR. I was attempting to retain my recording info in the gbpvr.mdb file. At Subs suggestion, I deleted the mdb file and everything went fine after that. Funny thing was, I had moved the mdb file to another place and hadn't even tried putting it in to the gbpvr directory, but I couldn't get the epg info. After I deleted the old mdb file from everywhere, everything went OK.

After checking to make sure I could log back into the labs.zap2it site, I cleared the EPG settings, and reran update EPG. That worked for me without having to move any files or anything else. Also, as Sub suggested in another post, try pulling down only 4 or 5 days worth of listings; any more than that hoses up the connection with the zap2it servers frequently and gives me the message that you are receiving...good luck!

I had the same problem yesterday.
Its definitely a problem with zap2it.
First couple of times it gave me the same error message.
The next time it just hung while downloading.
But it did populate my guide listings.
