I resized my GBPVR window to be smaller so I could fit it beside a web browser window for a couple of minutes. However, I can't figure out how in the heck to get it back to the default 640x480 display size for the GBPVR window. The only thing I can figure out is how to manually, non-aspect-ratio-preserving, drag the corners of the window. I looked through the config.xml files and also the config utility, but there is no setting that looked like it was the one. Any ideas?

The default size in window mode wasnt a correct aspect ratio for most people anyway. Just drag it to whatever size looks right for you, or run it in fullscreen mode.

Is there a way to specify a resolution in a config file anywhere? I run a 1680x1050 widescreen LCD monitor and just want the default NTSC size for the window, no shrinking, no stretching Smile. Or, if possible, is there any way at all to constrain the proportions when dragging the window's size? Thanks!

EDIT: P.S. Is there a snail-mail address I could send a money order to as a donation? Considering sending $20-30 (USD) or so once I get everything up and running as a thank-you Smile.

You could try running GBPVR.exe with the -pos:x,y,w,h parameter.

Hi - this doesn't work for me - the minute I attempt to resize my window it suddenly flips into aspect ratio lock mode, but with y & x axis inverted - so image is very tall & squashed. If I attempt to stretch window wider, it also gets taller.

How do I overcome this?

The old GBPVR.exe user interface didnt try to retain the aspect ratio when the user resized the window. The new PVRX2.exe user does, and wont let you resize to any old shape window.

Found the solution to my problem - tick to start GB PVR on second monitor. I have a dual monitor arrangement, with one set up in portrait mode. GB PVR must have been trying to proportion itself to this.

Result was also mis sized text

Related question...
Since upgrading from the 0.99 series releases I have been living with a picture that fills about 80% of the screen in full screen mode. There are 2" black borders all around, for some shows. On the old version the F7 key would allow changing the aspect ratio so I could fill the entire screen, but evidently this feature has been removed. When I search the forum all I come up with is my own year-old posts. Is there a way around this?

F7 should be exactly the same as previous releases, but remember only VMR9 has the full set of aspect ratio modes. EVR and Overlay dont have some of the aspect ratio modes which trim the sides of the picture.
