First off, many thanks for help! Donations on the way, this program is great!! Do you take Paypal?
Now, to the bigger question(s)....
I've got digital cable and would like to be able to record stations higher than 125. I am currently using the "video in" on my Hauppauge pvr250 card. I have noticed some solutions for changing cable channles via the computer. But, how do they work with the scheduling of GBPVR?
For example, I want to record channel 325. I've got my software selected to use the "video in" to capture the video. How does GBPVR know to record off of channel 325 at 6pm until 8pm? Does it automatically change the cable channel to 325 and start recording off from the "video in" jack?
I'm concerned that I might purchase something to control the cable box via the computer, only to find it doesn't work with GBPVR.
Last, my cable box has a serial output and USB connection. Does anyone know how to interface the computer to a cable box using these connections?
Sorry for all the questions, just trying to understand how everything "goes together".
Thanks in advance!
Pat
