Hi,
Does anyone have any ideas about the following?
I've recently upgraded from a 40Gb drive (Seagate Barracuda)
to a 160GB drive (Seagate Barracuda IV 7200rpm).
Ever since the upgrade I'm getting the occasional blip in my recordings where
it skips a bit. It's definitely the recordings as it's repeatable when I do a rewind.
Now I'm pretty sure this is likely to be a driver issue, but before I go ripping up the system and potentially making it a lot worse does anyone have any suggestions over which driver?
I'm using PVR-150 with my original drivers off the CD.
MVP for playback.
VIA Mini-ITX EPIA V8000 with the latest drivers available for the board (circa 2003).
256Mb RAM
Machine is exclusively for GB-PVR.
Any suggestions about the most stable PVR-150 driver? (I've only had one instance of no sound, recordings are always 10secs-1minute shorter than they should be.)
Cheers
Steve
