Hi,

Since I upgraded to the latest version of GBPVR, the program refuses to update the EPG. Whenver I tell it to update it, the dialog box comes up for about a second and then disappears. I am using the DVB EPG Broadcast option. The problem never occurred with the previous version - any ideas? Is there any way I can force it to update? The problem seems to occur regardless of whether I select 'Complete EPG Reload' or not.

Thanks for any help!!

Oliver.

Check the channel list table - the one with three columns... the left contains the channel name, the middle contains a checkbox and the right contains a tuning information string. However, some of these rows have channel names, with no tuning information. If the checkbox is checked on any of these rows the DVB EPG will fail. Uncheck any such checkboxes and the EPG scan should work. Unfortunately, these have a tendency to recheck themselves after performing a scan Sad

If you post your config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log I'll take a look.

Thanks a lot! I have attached the files you requested. There were a number of past versions, which I have also attached. I think I tried to update the listings manually, and re-configure the channels yesterday, hence the versions 1-3. I don't know if they will be able to shed any light on the situation.

The wierd thing is that these problems didn't happen before, and I even get them with Bleb!

Thanks again,

Oliver.

hang on, that zip file seems corrupted.. I'll try again....
I have also uploaded it to my website in case it doesn't work:

Thanks again.

I dont think those logs show an attempt to update the EPG. Can you try again? Manually click the 'Update EPG' button then repost your logs.

This looks like the offending segment of log:

Code:

I'm afraid that for the moment I will also be switching away from DVB EPG - as I have just discovered that Birtles XMLTV grabber now grabs from Bleb.org, which provides listings for the BBC Freeview radio stations.
