MyVideos DVD Recording Issue

I have successfully recorded a single recording to DVD by selecting Demux and Burn on a single recording, but now I am trying to burn 2 episodes of a show onto a DVD by selecting "Add to Disk" on the two episodes, and then burning the DVD.

It seems to hang on Step 1. I never get a dos window (I put pause's in the batch files) and GBPVR keeps kicking out to the main menu. When I enter MyVideos again the Step 1 screen is still up.

In Windows Task Manager, none of the processes seem to be using CPU.

Is there anyway to debug the Step 1, it doesn't seem to open dos windows, and I cannot find any errors in the logs.

can you post a screen shot of the "MyDVD" page with both titles. it may not be converting the files by default, i cant remember what the default for "Add to Disk" was (this has all changed in the next version).

I am at work right now, but I can post when I get home.

I remember that the screen does say Convert: True for both entries.

Maybe I should download the utility to convert ahead of time, and set this to Convert is false.

Just surprising to me that it works fine for a single file, but not when I do add to disk.

it can take about 30minutes to convert both files and there is an option to hide the batch windows, so that may be why you're not seeing any window.

try again and open up explorer to the temp directory and see if any files are created.

Found my problem. I was using MyVideos very successfully for a few weeks, I then installed VideoArchiver (using the installer). I had performance issues in GBPVR immedietly after installing VA (slow menus...etc), so I ran the uninstaller. This must have corrupted the MyVideos installation, I assume they share some common files. After trying to debug my problems in MyVideos over many days, I tried just re-unzipping myvideos.zip (after backing up my custom bat files) and everything is working great again.

Just thought I would post this in case it helps someone else.

my videos doesnt use anything that VA uses to my knowledge, VA i think does interact with the my videos db thou...
