New user :p
I am running a highly unsupported system (Vista SP1, Hauppage WinTV PCI with Intervideo encoders, Software encoding plugin) and am having the following error show up in my logs:
SoftwareRecorder[4032828]: getRecordingStatus-recording stuck
This happens at approximately 502 megs of file captured, the system them restarts the recorder service and continues but also creates a new file so the video is "broken". This timeout is approximately 11 minutes into the capture. It also happens during a live stream with the stream breaking ~11 minutes in. I have enclosed the log, it happens fairly early in the file and happens every time the file size is hit.
Also in the logs:
2008-10-16 04:55:14.591 VERBOSE [5] RecorderConfig[4032828]: CreateCaptureDevices-failed to SetAudioPreviewPinState: System.Exception: Could not find audio mixer line!
at SoftwareRecorder.SoftwareRecorder.SetAudioPreviewPinState(Boolean enabled) in C:\Documents and Settings\Norman\My Documents\Visual Studio Projects\SoftwareRecorder\code\SoftwareRecorder\SoftwareRecorder.cs:line 466
at SoftwareRecorder.SoftwareRecorder.CreateCaptureDevices(Boolean previewMode, Int32 quality) in C:\Documents and Settings\Norman\My Documents\Visual Studio Projects\SoftwareRecorder\code\SoftwareRecorder\SoftwareRecorder.cs:line 322
Have I found a bug in this plugin? Or is something else happening?
Everything else seems to work fine. The video it does record works right, it streams to client machines correctly, Live TV streams correctly, etc. I have tested it both hooked up via the Tuner in and SVideo in on the card, plus playing from both the Direct TV box and a stand alone VHS player. Every combination yields the same result.
The WinTV 2000 application that came with the card doesn't seem to display these symptoms, nor does WinPVR trial version; both record the full video length. I jumped through a lot of hoops to get this card working with Vista and GBPVR until I can afford a better card (next month).
