blurry menu text

After adjusting the screen with MVPscreenposition i get a perfectly positioned screen but the text in the menus are all blurred with what look like shadows. I've read this may be due to using odd numbers in the config app for mvpscreenposition. I'm using:

? Should they be multiples of something? I just got blurry text on mine, but I haven't changed my mvp position since I first set it up versions ago. However, I did notice it right after I messed with the OSDTransparency. I fixed it with a power cycle, but it seems to have come back on its own (no settings changes).

Any comment on the even-ness question?

I have a 32" SDTV - MVP via s-video. The picture had been perfect for over a year until I messed with that OSDTransparency setting, so I just assumed that had something to do with it. After I set it back and power cycled the MVP it was fine. My settings are at home, but I think they are something like 640x400,34,30. This isn't a big problem for me, but now that I got into it I'm just curious as to what happened.
