Hi.
When the computer resumes after hibernation (e.g. for updating EPG). - Windows freezes completely.
Heres how I reproduce the problem.
1. GBPVR is running - from within the application I choose: Hibernate
1. The PC wakes up to update EPG
2. After downloading EPG - I right-click the icon in the systemtray -> Update EPG
3. To get an updated TV-guide I shutdown GBPVR
4. When I try to restart GBPVR - Windows freezes completely.
Hitting CTRL + ALT + DELETE doesn't do a thing - the only way to regain control is to hard reset the computer.
The problem seems to be related to using the TV-out.
If I disable hardware encoding - the problem seems to disappear.
As I really would like to take advantage of my TV-out on the Hauppauge card - it would be nice if theres something I could do to make it work.
Any suggestions anyone?
When I look in the gbpvr.exe-native-1.log - I see the following error.
12:59:02.296 ERROR SetGlobalAlpha - IKsPropertySet->Set IVAC_OSD_GLOBAL_ALPHA failed
12:59:02.343 VERBOSE DirectShowHelperPVR350::ShowImageUsingPVR350()
12:59:02.343 ERROR SetOSDDisplayBuffer - IKsPropertySet->Set IVAC_OSD_DISPLAY_BUFFER failed
12:59:02.343 ERROR SetOSDState - IKsPropertySet->Set IVAC_OSD_STATE failed
(see attachment).
