Teletext subtitles seem to be working ok for me (aside from a few formatting issues).

I can view the subtitles whilst watching live tv, but they do not seem to be visible when watching a recorded show.

Is this by design, or have I screwed up somewhere?

How are you trying to view them? You cant just start teletext and view the page number.

To view and record subtitles you need to enable SRT capture and make sure you've set the appropriate page number against each channel in your capture source channel list.

Its just a text file with the subtitles in it.

GB-PVR uses the SRT file to determine what time subtitles should be displayed.

Depends on whether you read between the lines....

Seriously though, is there some way of turning on and off subtitles with the remote when watching a show with an srt file?

There is another theory which states that this has already happened.
