I must say the I'm a SageTV user for few monthes now, but my (almost) only problem with SageTV is the lack of full Hebrew support.
I managed to write an EPG collector (from two web site here in Israel) and import it to SageTV - but only the show names and no extended information about each show. And when restarting SageTV I'm loosing all hebrew data including the favorites - so no restarts a welcomed in my computer  [Image: wink.gif]
I found out thar GB-PVR have FULL Hebrew support in the EPG/recording etc.
If the search letters could be just from an external file - I'll change it to hebrew letters and have a complete system. We don't have TIVO here so...you are my last hope... [Image: biggrin.gif]

Waitting for you're next release!!!

Thanks again,
Oren.

Two things:
1. I second that request... Hebrew searching is a soarly needed feature for me.
Sub - you replied to oshapir before 09310 came out. Did you end up implementing it?
2. I have another suggestion (maybe this fits in the wishlist better):
How about the search would read the guide and produce a list of all the "first letters".
Then it'll show that list and all the rest is the same...

Thanks,
GGF

You can modify the search letters in skin\blue\search\skin.xml

Thanks. I tried but got "There is an invalid character in the given encoding.".

Where do I choose encoding?

Thanks,
GGF

Add a line at the top of the xml file with something like:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1255"?>
