GBPVR suddenly started kicking me out of LiveTVPreview after 30 seconds. I know other's have had this issue and I thought it was supposed to have been fixed in 96.8 - I'm on 96.12. I was wondering if anyone that had experienced this had overcome it, and if so, how? I know sub has his hands full right now (congrats again!).

My GBPVR.exe-native log is below. The part that seems funny is this:

18:17:35.343 INFO DirectShowPlayerBase::playLiveStream() done
18:17:35.343 VERBOSE put_Channel(36, AMTUNER_SUBCHAN_DEFAULT, AMTUNER_SUBCHAN_DEFAULT)
18:18:05.546 VERBOSE ConexantRecorder::StopRecording()

The "StopRecording" happens exactly 30 seconds after the playLiveStream function is initially called. I tried running the re-registerfilters.bat file but that didn't fix it. However, restarting the recording service did. This frightens me, though, because when this happened before it failed to record my scheduled programs. I had never experienced this problem until upgrading to 96.8, and if there is no fix I may have to downgrade.

My GBPVR.exe-native.log

Can you zip and attach a set of logs so I can see what else is happening at the same time?

Wow - I can't believe I neglected to grab the logs and post them - stupid. I'll grab and post them as soon as I can reproduce it. Restarting the recording service seemed to clear it up for the time being.

Okay, the logs are attached. I've attached two sets of logs. Last night I restarted the recording service and livetv was fine, and this morning livetv is booting me out again. The first set of logs is the logs from last night to this morning. The second set of logs (gbpvr_short) is the logs after restarting just gbpvr this morning, going into live tv, getting booted after 30 seconds, and exiting gbpvr. I've also now changed my logging level to DEBUG so if it happens again I'll grab the new logs as well.

Strange, all was working fine. During the night the remote will stop working and I have to exit with mouse. Start GB up again and I get thrown out of live tv after 30 secs. Have to reboot to fix.

Also how does one stop the remote.ini file from been overwritten? I save the file wth the volume fix and pictures mapped to F7. Will work for som time then stop working. Go into the file and pictures is back to F5 an 2 new volume+- entries that overide the fix.

Thanx

Okay - logs with level set to DEBUG. The first is with GBPVR running for a day and LiveTV working fine for a while. The last thing I did was go to LiveTV, get kicked out after 30 seconds, and exit GBPVR. The second set is from restarting GBPVR, going to LiveTV, getting kicked out after 30, and exiting. Restarting the recording service fixes it (for a while). Thanks.

#66 - out of curiousity what version of GBPVR are you running. Is anyone else experiencing this symptom?
