gbpvr runs so much smoother when i set the priority up a notch. only, i dont like having to do it every single time i start it.

sub, could you provide a way for gbpvr to run a little higher.

i just dont like it lagging when im using my computer for someone else, while recording, while watching tv Smile

Sorry, no I wont be doing this. I think changing the priority of things is generally a bad idea, but you're welcome to roll your own solution.

@robplatt

I think same about priority. Because of this i made a little Batchfile.

I give GB-PVR the Priority HIGH (NOT highest !!!), so i can do many things at same time (like playing new games) and watch TV, DVD or something like this at same time without stuttering.

Like this:

@Start /High C:\PROGRA~1\DEVNZ\GBPVR\GBPVR.exe -topmost

Make a "GBPVR.bat", edit this file and "copy & paste" the line above. Now save it as "GBPVR.bat".
You can point your Remotecontrol for starting purposes to this file (btw., the IR32.exe from Hauppauge has the priority "Above Normal" by me, because otherwise it will get slower all over the time.

Hope this helps you.
