Hi,

I've installed gb-pvr to try, as I'm sick of showshifter.
However, my Nova-t pci card does not seem to be being recognised. When I try to set my recording source, I select BDA recording device, and when I click "only show devices detected in this machine" I get a message that there are no known devices. If I manually select one of the Hauppage Nova-t cards, then when I try to to map the channels I am told that GB-PVR was unable to start the selected device.

I know the card works, as I can watch TV on it using Showshifter, which is still installed, along with it's BDA mpeg multiplexer.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Martin

If you've got one of the old Hauppauge cards, it may not have BDA drivers. From memory, some of the earlier Nova-T cards required a TechnoTrend BDA driver?
