Have a linux laptop I'd like to be able to play the recorded files from.

Wondering if anyone has a mythtv frontend that is successfully
playing files recorded by gbpvr, from network shared folders.

Or is it simpler than this...just need a linux method to play these recorded shows.

Suggestions?

GB-PVR records mpg2 files, any linux movie player which supported mpg2 should work happily for you,
